My ten best reasons for you to come to Gothenburg!

1 The food - There is one thing thats damn good here, Sea food! But of course we have lots of other restaurants but you have to have at least one shrimp sandwich before you go home!
2 The music city - We got many festivals (Metal town, West coat riot, Way out west and Kulturkalaset), big concerts with bands like Iron Maiden, Bruce Springsteen and Madonna. And of course smaller concerts and venues going on every week.
3 The people. I think Gothenburg citizens are very open minded and gladly help you find the greatest spots to hang out if you come. Plus we are famous for our humor. Damn funny people live here!
4 The shopping - No matter if youre after high fashion, young design or clothes from Gothenburg brands like Monki or Nudie. You can find it all here and during the summer its the big sales. Great time to go gold digging for a new wardrobe!
5 The amount of fun for everyone - Even if your a club hungry youngster or a family with kids its loads of funny things to do here. Liseberg and Universeum for the kids (among others), Clubs and bars for the young adults .. just pick out your favourites.
6 The close connection to the ocean. In the central area there is many boats that can take you to the Archipelago or just on a tour on the river. We have restaurant boats and damn.. we even have clubs and night life on some of the boats. In Gothenburg we love boats, water and our archipelago!
7 The great museums. Even though we are a small city our museums have very high standard with lots to see. My favorites are the art museum, the city museum and the Maritime museum.
8 The tiny distance to all the fun places. You definitely dont need a car here. Just rent a city bike or walk around! And of course you have to ride the tram a couple of time like we gothenburgers do :)
9 The experience of a city that constantly changing. Wether its the architecture, roads or new galleries, restaurants or stores. Gothenburg is a city thats constantly developing new great things to see and experience.
10 The historical places in a true harbor city. Gothenbur has the biggest harbor in the nordic countries and many industries are still working. Go down to the docks and get fascinated by all the boats. No matter how long you lived here it’s still fascinating.
